Humans in the Isle are categorized into two groups, Generation Two (Originally referred to as Mercenaries, however that is not the case anymore) and Generation One (Tribals/Cannibals - Not be confused with The Eyeless, originally referred to as Cannibals).

Both groups will behave differently to each other and will react to dinosaurs differently as well.

Generation Twos, specifically ones attributed to Apollo Engineering (AE), will refurbish and rehouse several structures on Isla Spiro and Gateway like a Radiotower, a small Outpost and a Bunker.

Both Gen 1 & 2 are genetically modified. Gen 1 being monstrously modified, failed attempts. Where Gen 2 play as a more "perfect human" for AE.

Gen 2 are also all the same age, being genetically made in a lab by AE, and will include multiple aspects of customisation such as:

  • Different genders (Male & Female option)
  • Hair
  • Skin Tone
  • Multiple face swaps

It’s less about quantity and more about how many dinos we can get feature complete and be unique. Once we have dinosaurs locked down and start moving into human development, they’ll be our current focus. You’ll see the same efforts put into our dinos flow into human development. But with a streamlined pipeline and well-established niches we could potentially add a dinosaur at any time in the future. Naturally, that would weigh heavily on the impact it would have on the rest of the dinosaurs and the incoming humans but know that you could see something new at any time.
