Monolophosaurus is a genus of tetanuran theropod from the Middle Jurassic of China coming to The Isle.
Real Life Information[]
Monolophosaurus was 1.8 meters (6.5 feet) tall, 5.5 meters (18 feet) long and weighed around 475 kg. It was a carnivore, likely predating upon the pterosaurs and smaller dinosaurs of it's region, as well as the small sauropod Bellusaurus.
Monolophosaurus was originally termed a "megalosaur" and has often since been suggested to be an allosauroid. Smith et al. (2007) was the first publication to find Monolophosaurus to be a non-neotetanuran tetanuran , [12] by noting many characters previously thought to be exclusive of Allosauroidea to have a more wider distribution.
In The Isle[]
Not much is known since there has been little released content for it, but in the concept art it seems to have the ability to shoot out some odorous liquid that it can track prey with.
